Public Interest Design

Seeking improve the quality of life for ALL people, Public Interest Design (PID) integrates the triple bottom line approach (social, economic, and environmental) emerging from the sustainability field with the participatory design and human centered design and design thinking methodologies emerging in the field of design – places, products and systems. There are many people who have not received the benefits of design and good design in the last many decades. PID seeks to redress that lack, for everyone, everywhere!
